ABOUT ME
I am an Associate Professor of Practice at the University of Tennessee. I greatly enjoy teaching and interacting with students, and I especially value creating new insights into finance for students new to the subject. My research interests are in the areas of corporate finance and investments. In particular, much of my research focus has been on corporate governance, institutional ownership, financial analysts, innovation, political contributions, and corporate social responsibility.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters. I also enjoy trail running, biking, and kayaking near the Tennessee River and in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
